SMS Reminder text scrambled
nasko says:
Since couple of months ago, I started receiving sms reminders with unreadable text in it. My mobile operator is not in the predefined list of supported operators, so I've set-up my mobile email address. At the beginning I was getting the reminders just okay. Now I get this instead of the reminder text:
--------------------------------
From: RememberTheMilk
Text: VGhpcyB0YXNrIGlzIGR1ZSBpbiAyIGRheXM6CjEuIEl2YW4gVmFzc2lsZXYgQkQK
--------------------------------
Do you think my operator may have started to do this in an effort to reduce free sms traffic, or is the RTM service malfunctioning?
Thanks in advance!
Greetings,
Nasko

Nasko, can you please try this again? It doesn't seem like your mobile provider supports the email format we send in -- we've made some changes on our end, so hopefully your provider can handle the emails now. Please let us know if you continue to experience problems.

I've set-up a test task and the reminder looks just fine.

From: RememberTheMilk
Text: This task is due in 30 minutes: 1. test task (5:15PM)
--------------------------------
So it was something w/ the email format, right?
Thanks indeed for the quick reaction, guys! :-)

Great, glad it's working for you now -- yup, it was caused by the email format, but should be fine now. Please let us know if you experience any further problems.
