Wrong number of tasks shows under Settings\Locations

When I work in the locations map pane, the tasks show correctly according to their locations; however, when I look at the locations list in settings, the number of tasks for each location is vastly greater than the number that should be there. For instance, a city that has one task associated with it shows 54 tasks in this list.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?
