RSS Feeds - error on smartphone

Hi,
I'm using newsbreak on an i-mate SP5 windows mobile smartphone. I can subscribe to a public list but when I try a private list I get the following error:
'An error occurred while attempting to download the channel data: The certificate authority is invalid or incorrect'
Any ideas? Thanks,
Austin.

Austin -- To make authenticated feeds work with Newsbreak on your Smartphone, check out these instructions on the Ilium Software site (the Remember The Milk feeds work like the Gmail feeds that are mentioned).

Emily,
My smartphone is WM5 so doesn't require this step. I can subscribe to my gmail feed without any problems.

Sorry for the delay. Are you able to check if your smartphone has the Equifax Secure Certificate Authority certificate installed? This article from Microsoft describes how to install root certificates with WM5 if for some reason your smartphone doesn't have Equifax.
(Gmail used to have the same issue as us with their feeds, but it looks like they're now using a different certificate provider.)

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I do have one of these.

Hmm, if the Smartphone supports the Equifax certificate, unfortunately I'm not sure what else could be causing this problem -- perhaps you could try contacting Newsbreak support and see if they have a solution? I'm sorry we can't be of more help!
