New auto-sync causes lost data / app crash
Dear RTM,
I have been unable to find this problem discussed anywhere.
Since I first got the RTM iPhone app over a year ago, I noticed that if you modify a task while the app is syncing, the sync never completes. After you exit and restart the app, it will crash on startup. On the next restart, the changes you made are gone. Up until recently, I simply worked around this problem by waiting for the startup sync to completely finish, making my changes, and re-syncing.
Recently, the app got a cool "auto-sync" feature. After you make a change, it waits a short time and starts an automatic sync. The problem now is that while I am still making changes to tasks, the app decides to sync, and I get the behavior described above. I have lost a lot of changes lately this way. Of course, I could probably just turn off the auto-syncing, but I really like it. A better solution would be to fix the original bug.
Is there a solution for this problem?
Thanks,

If you haven't done so already, would it be possible to submit an iPhone & iPod touch app issue report via our support system?
Please select the issue that you're experiencing from the list on the left, and follow the steps shown. If your issue isn't listed, just click on "I'd like to report a new issue" on the left.
Your report should provide all the info that we need to investigate further, but we'll be in touch via email if we require any more details.
Thanks!
