Remove Google Calendar Sidebar

I can see how to remove this feature from my Calendar. The FAQs says: "To remove this feature from Google Calendar: In Google Calendar, click on the "X" in the top right corner of the gadget." However, I don't see an "X"! I have tried on both Firefox and Chrome. Any ideas?

Hoover you're mouse over the right corner of the RTM gadget. An enpty box will appear. Click it and you're good to go. BroMo.
