why does search "due:today AND dueBefore:today" not produce any results

paulheth says:
Both searches separately work fine, but joined by the AND they produce no results.

As you can see I am trying to see tasks due today and past due tasks on one list. Any suggestions?

You need to replace the AND by a "OR". The task must be (due today) OR (before today)...It is logically impossible for something to be due today and before today.. Or use ONLY the "dueBefore:tomorrow" as suggested by Janniklindquist.
