Firefox 3.0 incompatibility

I have been using RTM for gmail without a problem with Firefox 3.0 RC2, however I cannot use RTM directly without Firefox crashing. ANyone have any idea what might be going on? I cannot even get into my account at this point (although as I said, I can login via RTM for Gmail)
Thanks,
David

Are you using the Google Gears FF extension in FF3 for offline syncing?
If you do not have this add-in installed in FF3, don't bother reading the rest of this message ;-)
If you do use the Gears FF extension, then Gears should have updated itself recently to version 0.3.24.0. This version provides FF3 compatibility.
I had some issues with FF3 crashing when going to any Gears enabled site after the upgrade to Gears 0.3.24.0. My issues related to FF2 still being installed, and some conflict between different FF2/3 user profiles.
I chose to uninstall FF2, make the shift to FF3, and clean up my FF user profiles; problem solved
Take a look at this Gears User group:
http://groups.google.com/group/gears-users/topics
and specifically my discussion thread with Google within the group:

Hope this helps!
