RTM as Windows Desktop

Hi Emily.
Though I'm a Firefox user, I also like to make RTM my entire desktop using Windows Desktop Web feature. (Display Properties --> Desktop Tab --> Customize Desktop --> Web Tab) ...except that RTM doesn't load properly that way and hangs with the light gray "Initializing" in the top right corner.
I've tried logging out and back in, setting IE as my default browser, and all sorts of hijinx - but no success. One thing that might be the problem is the repeated "This Page Contains Both Secure and Nonsecure Items" warning when I load it in IE (the usual way) - is that what's preventing it from loading as my desktop? What's the fix?
Lovin you guys,

Rush, interesting question :) We'll have to check this out -- I'm not sure what kind of restrictions there are on running sites in the Windows Desktop Web feature.
